You’re already on the internet. Open up a new tab and get to know our favorite food-adjacent brands, accounts, and handles on the web.
Call us Pinterest nerds, but we just really enjoy getting lost in the digital scrapbooking world of recipe, style, kitchen, and restaurant inspiration. Here are some of our favorite accounts for all things edible and awesome.
This Bon Appétit contributor and Brooklyn-based photographer’s Pinterest board inspires us to master the fine art of food photos. Warning: With an entire board devoted to doughnuts, this is dangerous ground for pinners with a serious sweet tooth.
Cupcakes and Cashmere
Emily Schuman is the mastermind behind Cupcakes and Cashmere, one of our favorite lifestyle blogs. Her Pinterest account is an awesome mash-up of style, recipe inspiration, and genius entertaining ideas.
SELF is bringing their A-game to the food scene. Not just workout fuel, their Pinterest account has the intel on seasonal recipes, breakfast and brunch (hello, avocado toast!), and healthy comfort food.
Infinitely clickable, we’ve got a soft spot for BuzzFeed Food’s account. From the helpful (there are a staggering number of recipe boards, from cake to pasta) to the important (the “bacon, bacon, bacon” board comes to mind) to the hilarious (it is BuzzFeed, after all!), there’s something for everyone here. And then some.
Local Milk is run by blogger, food stylist, photographer, and recipe developer Beth Kirby. And with a tagline like “A cast iron & a camera,” you know she’s a perfect match for Pinterest. Kirby’s aesthetic is clean, bright, and sweet—some of our very favorite adjectives.
BA contributor and photographer Nicole Franzen is our pick for all things creative, quirky, and cool. (Our two favorite boards are titled simply “Dark Foods” and “Bright Foods“). There’s also a delightful “Beards” board, but that’s neither here nor there.
Anytime we want to be transported to Paris (which is all the time), we browse Lebovitz’s Pinterest account for inspiration. Full of tried, tested, and true Parisian recipes from his home kitchen, our favorite board is the extensively curated collection of recipes from his website. That, and cake!
We’ve got a crush on Goop. The lifestyle blog’s Pinterest account is clean and well-organized (would you expect anything less?). Follow for tons of recipes, style inspiration, and a generally gorgeous aesthetic.
